Critics allege that Joseph Smith mistranslated the papyri, that he incorrectly restored the papyri that became Facsimile 1 of the Book of Abraham, that he plagiarized from various sources to create the narrative of the Book of Abraham, that the Book of Abraham raises irreconcilable theological issues, and that there is no way Abraham could have written the Book of Abraham.
